Dehotun is based in Largs, but we cover a large area across the west of Scotland….and occasionally a bit further afield if required. Life in Largs - Why buy property in Largs?

For many years Largs has proved to be one of Scotland’s most desirable towns to locate to due to its natural landscape with a magnificent coastline taking in the breathtaking sights of Arran, Bute and Cumbrae to the west and the spectacular backdrop of the countryside to the east. Popular with all ages, providing excellent shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants with Nardini’s now reopened, a world class marina, golf courses, high performing schools, Largs is in that enviable position of offering everything you could need. With its proximity to Glasgow Airport, Prestwick Airport and Glasgow City Centre Largs is also an ideal commute to Glasgow and by air nationwide.

Life in Fairlie - Why buy property in Fairlie?

The Fairtrade village of Fairlie, within very close proximity to Largs, has proved to be one of Scotland’s most desirable to live in and visit due to its natural landscape with a magnificent coastline taking in the breathtaking sights of Arran, Bute and Cumbrae to the west and the spectacular backdrop of the countryside to the east. Fairlie offers beautiful sandy beaches and coastal paths, which makes it popular with all age groups. The well known Kelburn Country Centre lies between Largs and Fairlie and makes for a memorable day out and offers something for everyone. The community hold Farmers Markets once a month offering locally produced quality products and crafts such as Fairlie Furniture Works as well as Fencebay’s own fish dishes, which gives the village that unique traditional feel to it. There is a beautiful cycle track that takes you past the marina and along the panoramic coastline linking Fairlie to Largs. As the village is only a short distance from Largs it offers all the same local amenities and leisurely activities. With its proximity to Glasgow Airport, Prestwick Airport and Glasgow City Centre Fairlie is also an ideal commute to Glasgow and by air nationwide.

Life in Skelmorlie - Why buy property in Skelmorlie?

Skelmorlie and neighboring Wemyss Bay are both small but yet busy community village’s only 40 mins from Glasgow & enjoy an unusually temperate climate. Skelmorlie offers a range of local amenities and recreational facilities from the popular Kip Marina in Inverkip, to golf courses in Skelmorlie and Largs. Also of note is the multiple award wining McCaskie butchers and delicatessen right on Skelmorlies doorstep.

Skelmorlie is a haven of peace yet benefits from all on offer in the area with a ferry terminal giving you swift access over to the Isle of Bute, train and bus links directly into the city of Glasgow or the near by larger towns of Greenock and Largs.

Life in Seamill - Why buy property in Seamill?

The coastal village of Seamill is the continuation of the neighbouring village of West Kilbride, which boats being one of Scotland’s first craft towns with eight unique craft studios offering high quality goods. The Seamill Hydro is very popular with locals and tourists a like offering fantastic cuisine and leisure facilities. For golfers, the well-regarded West Killbride golf club is actually in Seamill and is one of Ayrshires finest 18-hole courses. These two small villages both benefit from the breathtaking views of the Isle of Arran and the Firth of Clyde. Perhaps Seamill’s greatest claim to fame is the secluded sandy beach that is Ardneil Bay, you can walk along this unspoiled beach for miles and enjoy the world-class view. The Firth of Clyde offers some of the most scenic coastal sailing in the west coast of Scotland and there are Marina services at Largs, Ardrossan and Kip Yacht Marina at Inverkip. There is a main line rail service running from West Kilbride to Glasgow, and the road networks offer an ideal base for the commuter with easy access to Glasgow Airport and the M8 leading to Glasgow city centre.
